Art Classes
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, our classes are designed for everyone. Experienced instructors will work with you to reach individual goals.

Six-Week Courses

On and Off the Wheel (ages 7+)

In this course, young potters apply the basic skills of hand building and wheel throwing to the creation of functional and decorative pottery pieces. All experience levels are welcome. Class meets once a week.

Tuition: $150/six-week course (includes instruction and materials)

Wheel-Throwing (adults and teens)

The wheel-throwing course is designed to teach beginning wheel-throwing skills to those with no experience, while more advanced skills and design concepts are taught to experienced potters. Class meets once a week.

Tuition: $150/six-week course (includes instruction and materials)

Painting and Drawing (adults)

This course provides an excellent introduction to painting/drawing and understanding the elements of art. Those students with experience in painting and drawing will be challenged to further develop their existing skills. Class meets once a week.

Tuition: $120 + supplies/six-week course (please call Earthworks for supply list)

Summer Classes

One -Week Intensives (adults)

Summer intensives are designed for adult potters who wish to strengthen their wheelthrowing and handbulding skills while developing their creative expression. One-week intensive classes meet Monday through Friday, 6-9 pm.

Tuition: $150/intensive (includes instruction and all materials)

Summer Kids' Clay Camp (ages 7+)

Campers receive instruction on both hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques. All work is glazed then fired in our electric kiln. No prior clay experience is necessary. One-week camps meet Monday through Friday, 9-12 pm.

Tuition: $200/camp session (includes instruction and materials)
